The headquarters of the AXA Group, based in Paris 8th, brings together the Group's corporate activities. It coordinates the various entities with the Group's strategy, and is responsible for managing international projects.

The headquarters has approximately 800 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (39 nationalities).

AXA chose to gather its central functions within an economic interest grouping (GIE).The GIE AXA main missions are to :

  • Steering the entities in order to ensure the coherence of the strategies, the consistency of the commercial approaches as well as the optimization of the risks and results;
  • Defining and coordinating Group policies, different transversal projects and standards, identifying and sharing best practices;
  • Supporting the entities in order to help them to grow, to develop their offer, their management and steering standards as well as their risk management.
  • Direction Presentation : You will join the Group Internal Control (IC) management team within the central Risk Management function of the AXA Group.

    Group Risk Management develops the risk framework in terms of limits / thresholds (financial, insurance and operational risks), standards, minimum requirements or processes, and oversees the operating entities’ adherence to the framework, supported by the local risk management teams.

    Risk management is coordinating the second line of defence. Purpose of the mission : Within the Group IC organization, you will be a member of the IC reporting team.

    You will have two missions :

  • Administrating and improving the Group IC reporting process (based on Excel Macros and PowerBI technology)
  • Group Internal Control will deploy in 2018 a global Internal Control tool to support internal control activities at AXA Group and in its entities.
  • You will participate to the deployment of the tool and will support the entities migration

    Main responsibilities : Internal Control Reporting Process

  • Maintaining the existing reports library and providing Group IC Team with relevant reports
  • Implementing and performing data quality checks to ensure the quality and reliability of the reporting
  • Identifying areas for improvement in the IC reporting process and implementing changes when required (new reports definition, performance issues, automatization of repetitive actions )
  • Documenting all steps of the IC reporting process
  • Entities Migration to the Group Internal Control Reporting Tool

  • Developing migration templates (Excel Macros) that will support entities migration to the Group IC Tool
  • Implementing and perform data quality checks to ensure the quality and reliability of the entities migration
  • Support end-users in their day-to-day activities within the Group IC tool
  • Profile :

  • General IT knowledge
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and VBA.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and SQL code is appreciated
  • Soft Skills :

  • Precise, analytical and well organized
  • Action-oriented, delivery-focused mindset
  • Attention to details in the daily use of complex Excel models
  • Effective communication and writing in English
  • Background and experience : Bachelor or Master Degree in Information Technology or Engineering
