Position Objective : The Technical Inside Sales assists the external sales team and distributors to increase the sales of standard and non-

standard products. He / she provides technical and commercial support to external sales, customer service, distributors, and customers for mainly MEA (Middle East & Africa), Spain, France.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Provide technical and commercial support to Pall Sales Engineers and to act as the intermediary with engineering, plants, Sales Administration, the end users, customers and distributors.
  • Provide pre and post order support both technically and commercially.
  • To prepare technical and commercial offers including sizing, for the best solution commercially and technically, liaise with Engineering as required.
  • To check with the relevant technical department for special sizing and to check availability, lead time, feasibility, literature, if export license is necessary, embargo rules.
  • To check, to review customer commercial contract as liabilities and guarantees, to have access to standard cost and to discuss with sales manager for selling price and Company Terms.
  • To pay attention that the Danaher quality rules and procedures are adhered to.
  • To answer technical and commercial clarifications to customers and distributors.
  • At receipt of the order, in case of non conformity with our offer, to check with sales administrative if it is acceptable, to conduct contract review for specials.
  • To do the request of creation of part number (PN) or to give all elements to administration.
  • To assist administration or sales if a PN is obsolete to find an equivalence or solution.
  • To supervise the specials order if existing with Engineering and (Sales Administration) more standard order.
  • To manage and update the geographical Area Price List.
  • Investigate and support the sales team on new application, product extension for the geographical area.
  • Qualifications

    Education, Skills and Comptetencies :

  • Food & Beverage degree qualification engineer or equivalent by experience or knowledge.
  • 2 years relevant industrial sales experience.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Computer literate, with experience in software such as Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point).
  • Excellent communication, both verbally and written in English and Spanish.
  • Team spirit
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and develop a solution to their needs.
  • Confident persuasive telephone manner.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work under own initiative, but within guidelines as defined by management.
  • To be familiar and conversant with general office equipment, and in particular the use and manipulation of databases, Outlook, Skype and SAP .
  • Clear communication both verbally and written, with attention to accuracy and details, both internally and externally of the company.
