The position operates on a regional and international level. The Lead Engineer organises all Solutions Engineers (lighting, HVAC,).

Main work function is to allocate the resources and is assuring the quality standards in the detailed engineering concepts.

The Lead Engineer steers and leads the Solutions Engineering Team and is responsible to develop the skillset of people according to the products EE is offering on the market.

The Lead Engineer is responsible for the interaction between the solutions engineers and the stakeholders in the project and providing guidance on the business process and procedures.

  • Assuring the quality of detailed engineers concepts in time and budget
  • Allocates the Solutions Engineer resources
  • Organizes the external and internal interaction between all stakeholders
  • Decides which parts will be organized and planed internal or with external subcontractors
  • Attend PMO meetings
  • Being part of the Best Practice Team
  • Organizes the PMO Delivery Process for the solution engineers
  • Develop the Team skillset according to the product management requirements
  • First step of escalation in matter of problems
  • Organizing the Review meetings and interact with the Product Management
  • Support Local Head of PMO
  • Assuring the HSSE standards
  • Qualifications

    These are considered essential for all aspects of the job to be carried out thoroughly well together with an indication of other desirable factors if appropriate.


  • Proven experience in the area of Energy Efficiency Solutions (Industrial and commercial application)
  • Detailed Design and Project Management Skills
  • Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical or similar )
  • Skills and Aptitudes

  • Ability to work under own initiative but work as part of a team
  • Superb communication & organisational skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
  • Willing to add value at every level
  • Customer Service Skills ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Use of Excel, Word & Outlook and in-house Service Management database & Financial systems
  • PMO-software tools / MS-Project etc.
  • AutoCAD etc.
  • Lean Management understanding
  • Willingness to travel and support international projects
  • Assuring the HSSE standards
  • Job knowledge
