A critical role in the territory Sales Planning teamdeveloping business tools to plan and track company sales. This role, reportinginto the Sales Planning Director, coordinates & consolidates the reportingand forecasting process mostly focusing on Discount and some areas ofGross-

To-Net (G2N) for the sales function.

The successful candidate in this role should have theability to connect the Business and Consumer environment in which Nike tradeswith the role of Sales Planning within the organization, focusing on how weimprove our ability to Serve the Consumer and how we Deliver Results.

This person should be able to identify gapsin analysis and develop sales / financial tools to drive sound decision making tomaximize revenues and sales opportunities.

Job Description

  • Developing reporting and business intelligenceto support the Sales organization.
  • Together with the Gross to Net team provide businessintelligence solutions to manage, track, plan the customers’ discounts
  • Support Sales Planning Managers in their role coordinatingcritical business planning deliverables specifically around the monthlyS&OP planning meeting.
  • Summarization and ownership of Discount reporting,supporting SPM in communication of Discount reports and tracking of Discountfor key account throughout the fiscal year
  • Lead the Trade Terms / Discount planningprocess, from gathering information to compiling and communicating it to theNorth Sales Leadership Team and the EMEA Discount team.
  • Ensure a consistent Trade Termsapplication and system set-up so that all invoicing can be as flawless aspossible
  • Candidates need to be able to demonstrateadvanced data analysis abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical understanding and advancedcapabilities using Excel, Access and other data management and visualizationprograms
  • This position requires a high level of personalmotivation and determination.
  • Job Requirements

  • Technical knowledge is critical, especiallyAdvanced Excel skills (ability to work with large complex data sets & database building is a must)
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Good SQL
  • Intermediate MS Access
  • Tableau (nice to have not compulsory)
