Job Description :

We are looking to hire a Leasing Officer based in our office in Paris. As Leasing Officer, you will responsible for creating leasing strategies, providing excellent services to our customers while thinking strategically to optimize marketing and expansion activities across France.

In this role you will report to the Head of Leasing France and the Country Manager France.

As Leasing Officer, you will work closely with the Market Officers and Property Managers to execute the overall company commercial and development strategy.

Next to that you will focus on sourcing and developing relationships with existing and new potential clients. You will be responsible for overseeing and understanding the dynamics of the overall industrial real estate market in France, finding the right opportunities and focus areas.

We are looking for a confident, results-oriented real estate professional with a great customer service attitude. A natural networker who takes initiative and works well in a team structure.

Your general tasks and responsibilities

Management Activities :

  • Report ongoing leasing activities, preparing and executing budget and forecast
  • Attentive tracking of market trends through networking and market surveys
  • Stay up to date on market conditions, property values, and legislations
  • Be aware of comparable properties, their pricing and competitive positions
  • Maintain relationship with brokers, governmental agencies, economic development agencies etc.
  • Leasing Activities :

  • New and renewal lease negotiation and analysis
  • Professional interaction and relationship development with tenants and clients
  • Sourcing and identifying new customers including but not limited to : e-business playersbig retailers (Super U, Auchan, Decathlon )
  • Securing new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building
  • Supply property information, show (tour) lease space, give presentations and quote lease rates to potential clients, while tracking progress
  • Preparation of leasing documentation, including leases, amendments, mandates
  • Managing the whole leasing process including TI’s and ASTI
  • Plan and coordinate marketing and promotional events, open houses with the Marketing team
  • Represent Prologis at social events and conferences promoting the Prologis brand
  • Promote property visibility with brokers, site locators, governmental agencies, economic development agencies and prospective tenants, maximizing exposure
  • Your qualifications and experience

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in property, business or real estate
  • At least 3 years experience in a relevant commercial role related to the real-estate industry
  • Experience in negotiating and structuring transactions in real estate, either from a development or investment standpoint
  • Extensive experience in creating solid deal structures in a complex environment
  • Solid network in the logistic real estate market and relevant local authorities is a plus
  • Fluent in English
