    Is responsible for the origination of Export & Trade Finance (ETF) transactions for a portfolio of corporate clients in close coordination with Coverage teams :

    Identifies ETF business opportunities

    Maintains regular dialogue with clients at Treasurer level

    Provides clients with a comprehensive range of products and solutions to help them manage working capital and international trade needs.

    Develop cross-selling with focus on other ITB products (GCF, Transaction Banking) and GMD products (Forex & Treasury)

    Contributes to the approval process (credit, compliance, etc.) of the transactions he / she originates

    Is in charge of the monitoring of risk for his / her client portfolio

    Liaises with the Middle Office to optimize execution and assist in the remediation of anomalies

    Contributes to the elaboration of an annual commercial action plan :

    Participates in the production of client budget bricks

    Establishes the commercial action plan for his / her portfolio

    Participates in the definition of the cross-sell objectives with GMD (Treasury & Forex)

    SCOPE :

  • Target clients will be US subsidiaries of foreign companies (MNCs) and Canadian clients.
  • Trade Finance products :
  • o Export documentary letters of credit and confirmations

    o Performance guarantees

    o Cross-border trade-related Standby L / Cs

    o Financial guarantees

    o Forfaiting / Receivables finance facilities

  • Export Finance products :

    Develop and maintain a good knowledge of the local unit and its markets :

    ITB & CACIB teams and products

    ITB & CACIB tools and processes

    Key clients

  • Review market information and organize client meetings to identify and originate transactions within the scope of the activity and strategy.
  • Structure transactions and prepare term sheets and offers in coordination with structuring teams as needed.
  • Prepare and present business opportunity memos and credit write-ups for clearance by Business Committees and Credit Committees.
  • Negotiate documentation (in conjunction with legal counsel where applicable).
  • Ensure that all stakeholders in support functions (MO, BO, Legal, Compliance, Risks, etc.) are informed and up-to date on all transactions under his / her responsibility, ensuring good execution of approved transaction and proper booking and monitoring.
  • Contributes to the implementation of the TF-ITB strategy in the region, through the definition of commercial targets and products to be marketed.

  • Contributes to portfolio reviews and monitoring
  • Contributes to the preparation budgets
  • Represents ITB business line in internal meetings and presentations
