Position Summary

IFF-LMR NATURALS is looking for an enthusiastic and team-oriented Cosmetic Product Development Manager. He / her will be in charge to develop and promote our natural ingredients into new markets like the cosmetic and the Aromachology markets, and help clients understand our strengths and our products.

At the fringe of scientific expertise, marketing skills and business strategy, the position will collaborate with the departments of R&D, sales and marketing to create a successful product development strategy.

He / her will engage with the different IFF business units to coordinate the global strategy and will strengthen relationships with key customers.

Key Responsabilities

Create a successful Product Development plan

  • Work in R&D to understand the products specifications and added values and use IFF LMR Naturals strengths to differentiate from competitors
  • Track and benchmark competition new products
  • Prospect and analyze customers’ needs to successfully position and brand LMR ingredients creatively
  • Liaise with Global and Local Marketing Managers of the different BUs to build a strong and global strategy, provide input and sets priorities
  • Translate cross category market trends and consumer lifestyle into relevant product and brand concepts
  • Foster innovative thinking in order to develop relevant concepts / insights which are in line with the category drivers and customer strategies that will help create unique fragrance solutions
  • Advise R&D on strategic new developments and product portfolio, regulation & IP
  • Provide technical support and answer technical questions on LMR portfolio
  • Help customers to design stories & concepts around our portfolio
  • Ensure the development and monitoring of sales on those new markets
  • Marketing sales tools

  • Create marketing materials that outline the technical specifications of the products and include scientific data as proof-of-concepts
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and multi-cultural teams to deliver marketing tools (graphics creation and content writing) to support the Sales Department
  • Support actively the social media and communication corporate team providing regular content
  • Support the Branding team in organizing the professional exhibitions and customers symposiums
  • Required Skills

  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently, under general direction, and create organized work plans and outputs requirements timely

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with cross-functional teams in a multi -cultural environment
  • Inquisitive mind and good listening skills
  • Experienced with IT tools to design presentations and concepts
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Required Experience

    Required experience and education

    Scientific degree i.e. chemistry, bio-chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, cosmetic science, pharmaceutics, completed by a business or marketing degree (MBA, business school, )

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role, in the cosmetic industry in an international environment, with proven track record of successfully developing and implementing regional marketing strategies and executing product / commercial launch plans in a region
