The project compliance engineer shall
Challenge third party as appropriate to defend our interest.
Ensure exchanges with Third Party on the project is performed in a timely manner and of the right quality.
Manage all comments issued by Third Party regarding classification and verification scope of work. Follow up each comment and ensure it is timely and properly replied.
Be focal point towards other project entities with regards to Third Party activities
Work with disciplines to identify, analyse and implement any changes to the performance standards. Clarify with Third Party and Client implementation of these changes and update performance standards accordingly.
Develop and manage registers for third party activities.
Required Skills and Competences
Engineering degree or equivalent, min 10 years’ relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry with a minimum of 5-
year experience in work with third party organizations, national authorities and regulatory compliance.
Good understanding on the role, responsibilities and limitations of a third party. Understanding of technical requirements of third party rules and active involvement in discussions between third party and disciplines.
Technical knowledge in system and packages, construction and testing philosophies.
Capability to promote team-working and cross functional collaboration among the different functions both internally with Procurement, Engineering, Inspection, construction, commissioning and externally with Third Party, Client, Sub-
contractors and Vendors.
Open minded and creative with excellent communication skills. Self-starter and autonomous.
Analytical and organizational mindset together with effectiveness in building and implementing new processes and procedures
