Alstom France has an opening position for a Site Human Resources Manager, located at Valenciennes Office.

For this role we are seeking a talented and accomplished and agile HR & Talent professional, with proven credentials of working in a HR business partnering, consultative role within an international organization.

Key areas of focus will also be HR transformation, moving towards a more strategic way of thinking throughout the business, including people development, succession planning, diversity, and team-liaison.

HR Operations

  • Maintains, supports & implements Alstom HR policies, programs and procedures and related activities (e.g. compensation and benefit annual reviews;
  • performance management process; employee relations, company handbook or site policies, etc.)

  • Responsibility for recruitment within the business, working closely with our France Recruitment team : advertising roles, manage internal mobility, interviews, drafting offer letters, contracts.
  • Supports France Talent team to implement relevant processes and training materials for talent management, recruitment and hiring managers

  • Manages onboarding, ensuring all local requirements are proactively met
  • Represents HR on audits and inspections or due diligence actives
  • HR Business Partner

  • Coaches business leaders on how to engage employees and build people capability within their organizations
  • Actively consults and provides solutions related to workforce, talent, and organizational matters within region or function
  • Drives culture change in region, while coaching senior leaders on Alstom Leadership Behaviors, accountability, HR processes and programs for region or function
  • SKILLS & EDUCATION

    Already experienced within an international matrix organisation, you bring 5 several minimum years of experience working across multiple and diverse teams.

    Experience working in a Engineering and / or Industrial environment would be highly appreciated

    You have solid experience working with various HRIS systems, with preference SAP / SuccessFactors

  • You bring a high level of interpersonal skills and is considered as a flexible team player, who can form strong relationships across the business
  • Ability to coach and lead others. Demonstrated success in collaborating cross-functionally
  • Well-developed time management skills; ability to multi-task and produce work product with a sense of urgency.
  • You work comfortably both in French and English.
  • You can demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and outstanding organizational and problem solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.
