Kantar Health has formed a transversal global business development team to lead on new business generation and develop client relationships with the Regional and Global HQs of major pharmaceutical companies.
To support the growth of one of our core businesses - Real World Research - we are looking for a Business Development Director to develop our RWE & Late Phase multi-
country projects & generate new business with our major HEOR & Medical Affairs Clients within the pharma headquarters based in the EU region with a special focus on the DACH region.
The position will be ideally based in the EU (Germany, the UK or France).
In order to be successful this person will need to be recognized as a trusted advisor by our pharma clients. This person will also need to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, be focused on customer satisfaction and retention, and be able to work independently in a flexible, fast-
paced work environment, alongside with our Subject Matter Experts.
In this exciting new position, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our project teams based in the big 5 Europe Germany, UK, France, Italy & Spain.
Drive sales growth for Kantar Health Real World Research & Late Phase Offering for assigned German, Swiss and other EU accounts.
Meet identified sales targets. Lead presentations to drive the creation of successful cross practice proposals.
Promote Kantar Health RW & Late Phase Offering. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Kantar Health’s offer and expertise.
Exercise effective planning / research practices in order to know the client’s business - strategic imperatives, growth strategies, etc.
and identify key stakeholders.
Establish or maintain ongoing relationships with key decision makers at clients . Develop and broaden relationships within established client accounts so as to achieve a trusted advisor status.
Create multiple touch points with clients, creating a portfolio which reflects everyone on an organization chart who is a potential influencer or buyer of our products / services.
Internally, build relationships with colleagues working in all business uni ts. Provide leadership and support to those providing input to RFPs or working on client projects.
Communicate and give guidance on all activities related to the account. Help resolve conflicts and promote effective teamwork.

Proven track record in leading business development activities within the RWE & Late Phase Area - Experience must include responsibility for growth of business with revenues of at least $1M
Proven track of sales hunting activities
Proven track of preparing new business proposals for Pharma
Proven track record of understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and an understanding of RWE, Late Phase Research & Health Outcomes Research.
Must demonstrate the ability and results from successfully growing a business over a sustained period of time.
Be able to leverage a strong network of partner contacts in the Real World Research sector
This position requires regional European travel approximately 30% of the time.
