Global Investment Banking (GIB) aims at advising large clients of the Bank for their strategic financial issues as well as structuring and executing specialized financial transactions.
Manage and develop GIB activities in Japan.
Strategy and Business Planning
made financing and debt optimization solutions (Structured Finance Solutions business line)
Develop new clients for GIB business lines
Manage & train new staff who will join GIB Japan
Increase revenue with the objective of achieving satisfactory profitability for the GIB business line
Management and Reporting
Report to the SCO (local) and the Co-Head of Global Investment Banking, Asia Pacific (functional)
Tokyo branch management
Global Head of GIB, Co-heads of GIB APAC, and Heads of GIB sub-business lines (M&A Advisory, SET, ECM)
Relationship Managers / Senior Bankers for client information
Legal and Compliance officers for legal / regulatory issues
Back Office / Middle Office processing / settlement of trades
Risk Management Officers for counterparty credit risk information
Outlook, Office, Intranet, etc.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS :
MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or relevant discipline from a recognized university
10-15 years of working experience in Investment Banking with a leading regional / international institution
Proven track record in deal origination and execution in M&A advisory, ECM, and derivatives with strong business development / sales skills
Experience in working in a cross-cultural environment (a working experience in a French would be a plus)
Minimal education level
Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
MBA or Master's degree in Finance or relevant discipline

11 years and more
