Are you an experienced manager with a knack for creating and maintaining editorial processes? The nonprofit news organization WhoWhatWhy is looking for Editorial Operations Coordinators to assist with, organize, and track editorial production with our Managing Editor.
You will be responsible for the journalism we publish every day, but you do not need a journalism background so much as a strong organizational and time management skills and drive to help our publication run smoothly.
If you can commit a minimum of 5 or more hours a week, working remotely on your own schedule with our far-flung, diverse team, we'd like to hear from you.
You will work remotely and on your own schedule, though we require a minimum commitment of 5-8 hours a week. Note that the listed city location is for reference all work is done remotely.
Because our staff is spread throughout the world, we communicate mostly through email. All staff are required to respond to emails on a daily basis.
