A position within Air Liquide USA, Large Industries (LI) Business Line, Americas Hub team will offer assignments and insights into the industrial, commercial, and technical knowledge management strategies that occur in our geography.
The VIE Participant will work closely with senior managers in the LI Hub Team under the direction of the VP of the LI Americas Hub.
The VIE will experience how the Hub LI Team interacts with the various LI teams within the Americas Hub as well as the LI World Business Line, including LI World Industrial Management (WIM).
Missions & Responsabilités
Working with the VP of LI Industrial Strategy for the Americas Hub, the VIE will be in charge of tracking the Hub’s progress on meeting the industrial strategy.
The VIE will be responsible for contacting the Industrial Directors of each Cluster (Canada, USA, Caribbean and Mexico, and South America) to receive the needed information which includes, program scope, deployment plan, schedule, and financial savings.
In addition, the VIE will work with LI-WIM’s Smart Innovative Operations (SIO) department to gain insight on all SIO programs as well as the proper method to track progress in deployment.
Lastly, the VIE will work with Hub Safety teams to track the Hub safety metrics (Lost Time Frequency Rate - LTFR, Recordable Frequency Rate -
RFR). All of these measurements and updates, along with information gathered from the LIRE database, will be compiled into the LI Hub Quarterly Report and a monthly synopsis will be update on the Hub website.
The report will be the responsibility of the VIE to design and distribute amongst leadership in the Americas and the LI WBL.
The VIE will also spend time supporting LI Hub knowledge management initiatives such as LEAP, READI, and KNOE. Working with the LI Technical Knowledge Manager, the VIE will provide support in maintaining these programs as well as launching new aspects of these programs.
In addition, the VIE will help maintain the LI Hub website by updating content and adding new material as new knowledge management and industrial strategy initiatives are formed.
This position includes exposure to the commercial side of the Hub NEOS growth strategy. The Hub is expected to sign new projects to meet growth objectives while not exceeding its Capex envelope .
The Hub will monitor the portfolio of project opportunities and the progress of individual opportunities to provide guidance to the Clusters and the Group.
Working with the Sr. Director of Commercial Strategy and Planning, the VIE will monitor the portfolio and maintain the database of new projects.
They will interact with the LI WBL and the Operations Control Department of the Americas Hub. There will be a unique commercial project with the results presented at the end of the assignment.
