Purpose of the role

As an Operations Engineer , your mission will be to operate and support (Level 3) B&A Solution hosted in both cloud and on-prem infrastructure.

You will have to deploy application upgrade, monitor platform health, support Level 2 Team and assist in Customer integration within the system.

Deliverables / Tasks

  • Lead and implement the chosen solution and assist the project teams.
  • Monitor operations, integrations, sensitive interventions. Ensure the validation of the solutions implemented.
  • Develop scripts and automations.
  • Monitor the availability of the platform hosted in the datacenter and in the cloud.
  • Ensure production start-ups and implement a post-implementation test strategy.
  • Resolve malfunctions : Analyze the malfunctions reported by the L2 support teams Analysis and resolution of incidents or problems through a Ticketing system.
  • Investigate the origin of errors and develop recommendations for suitable technical solutions by seeking the necessary information from R&D teams.

    Report bugs or requests for improvement to the R&D teams. Participate in the Bugs Review’ with Marketing, R&D and project teams.

  • Train and support technical teams in the regions : Train technical teams (L1 & L2 support, regional project). Ensure constant monitoring of the evolution of the group's products and software.
  • Benefit the regions. Document customer use cases.

    Required skills

  • Databases (Postgres SQL, Couchbase, ElasticSearch)
  • Container (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Job Scheduling
  • Scripting (Shell, Python, Java)
  • Very good level in English (written / read / spoken)
  • Network and protocol knowledge
  • Knowledge of tools such as Git, Terraform / Ansible.
  • Electronic payment knowledge (a plus)
