Missions and Responsibilities
The Specialist is responsible to execute the maintenance program to achieve optimum performance of all Electrical and Instrumentation equipment / devices with the objectives of achieving continual gas supply to the customer, leveraging organizational capabilities in response to business needs of our customers while maintaining company business objectives and ensuring that at all levels the safety standards are strictly adhered.
Ensure that the facility is operated in a safe, reliable and efficient manner, preserving the environment.
Ownership of all Electrical and instrumentations equipment / devices in his domain.
Plan and execute scheduled maintenance program for Electrical switchgears (HT, LT), motors (MV, LV), Power and distribution transformers, VFD, Softstarters, UPS, earthing and lightning systems, protection relays, field transmitters, Control and shutdown valves.
Participate in equipment upgrading projects and ensure compliance with Air Liquide's design standards and best practices.
Investigate equipment failure and recommend the most cost-effective method of repair / maintenance for the affected equipment.
Participate in the RCA for all equipment reliability issues and propose the corrective & preventive action plan.
Ensure that the maintenance program is in place and aligned with the maintenance strategy. Ensure that
Responsible for quality and safety audit (Electrical & Instruments part).
Coordinate with operations to execute and complete the PM / CM / SDM on time.
Train the operation staffs on critical E&I equipments.
Support the implementation of best practices and using predictive maintenance tools.
Competencies and Profile
Minimum Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Mechantronics Engineering.
Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance / service / commissioning Oil and Gas, petrochemical, water or Electrical Facilities.
Excellent interpersonal & problem solving skills
Working understanding of process equipment and technology used in the facility
Working understanding of mandatory regulatory requirements applicable to the operations of the facility
Experience in RCA methodology
