Internship Objective :
Implement and Monitor Opn overall Supply Chain Strategy to Secure Production and aaximize Productivity
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
oParticipate in the planning of production scheduling and operations to guarantee that it matches our objectives, deadline and costs
oSecure and monitor production in France and in Asia
oMonitor and coordinate logistics and transportation : demand planning, inventory management, supply chain planning, scheduling, all while gathering understanding of other functions of the business (Marketing and Communication)
oInterpret data to identify major conclusions and formulate summaries
oMeet with Operational leaders and suppliers on a weekly basis to update them and work through issues (if needed)
oAssess global performance and process for potential optimizations and make recommendations
oParticipate in special projects assigned by the Senior Manager of Operations or Project Director
oAct as a resource to other business functions for issues on supply chain and operations
Scope may include other areas such as customer service, operations planning, inventory management, freight bills, tariff / rate quotations, rate management, local plant logistics, and accounting
oPrevious internship or work-related experience
oFluent in French and English
oAbility to demonstrate a strong aptitude for business
oExcellent written and oral communication skills
oProactive, hands-on, rigorous and team-oriented
oAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously, deal with ambiguity, make trade-off decisions, meet deadlines and drive for results
oExperience with ERP programs (enterprise level preferred)
