Job Description and Requirements
The Role :
Develops, implements, and / or maintains one or a combination of general accounting systems. Prepares journal entries; maintains and reconciles ledger accounts.
Provides record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions. Performs accounts payable duties. Balances books periodically and prepares profit and loss, income, and balance sheet statements.
Maintains receipts and disbursement reports
Good inter-personal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Manufacturing experience appreciated as well as thorough knowledge of French GAAP
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and solve problems analytically.
Able to interact with different levels of management and people with different personality styles.
Additional requirements :
Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of related experience. Possesses a full understanding of specialization area plus working knowledge of multiple related areas.
Independently resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways on a regular basis. Customarily exercises independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.
Performs in project leadership role. Contributes to complex aspects of a project. Determines and develops approach to solutions.
Work is independent and collaborative in nature. Provides regular updates to manager on project status. Represents the organization on business unit and / or company-
wide projects. Guides more junior peers with aspects of their job. Frequently networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
