Market Access and Development Manager
BD Diabetes Care has a new opportunity available for a Market Access Manager to join our growing team covering France.
You will be responsible for supporting the overall market access strategy for the BD Diabetes Care product portfolio. This is a critical role as we are strengthening our reimbursement development capability to activate our growth agenda.
You will provide leadership across the organization related to France health policy, quality, reimbursement, and patient access.
You will be regarded as the in-house expert contributing to business strategies from the reimbursement perspective. Specifically, you will establish reimbursement strategies in new product development and existing product portfolio.
You will also lead the execution efforts in establishing optimal reimbursement based on building sound value argumentation for payers.
You will be an integral part of our team as reimbursement is becoming increasingly important to our commercial success.
Duties & Responsibilities
Analysis of the needs and expectations of the main players in the management of diabetes (health insurance, ARS, hospitals, URML, pharmacists' unions, learned societies, patient associations)
Create, develop strategies and tools to build relationships with major health actors as part of the divisional strategic policy.
Relationship management and partnerships to develop the relationship / reputation and attractiveness of the division with medical KOL, patient associations and key players in the management of diabetes.
Representation of certain sectoral groups of professional unions (Snitem) and participation and reporting of external events
Propose market access strategies for new product launches, market shaping and Go To Market as part of innovation launches, including partnership projects to maximize the value added of connected solutions.
Management of the medico-economic strategy : coordination of the files intended for the HAS and the CEPS in order to obtain and secure the best conditions of price and refund for our products
Participation in the prospective work and definition of the value proposition of the client to optimize the quality of care and medical / economic value related to the use of our technologies.
Deployment of this value proposal in the framework of partnership projects with key partners in the management of diabetes : efficiency of the organization of care, care path, compliance, telemedicine, applications.
Bibliographic research missions from different databases
Establishment of medico-economic studies to support our products with payers or our prescribers
Establishment and management of a partnership policy with the mutual insurance, insurance or provident organizations so that they take care of our products not yet reimbursed
Participates in projects including within the BU the marketing and sales teams and within BD France mainly Public Policy and HEOR managers.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals or related field
5 or more years of healthcare industry experience
3 or more years of experience in product reimbursement developments with payers
Skills and competencies

Proven ability to translate reimbursement concepts and payment policies into common business language relevant to all levels of the organization
Ability to develop sound strategies and effectively execute them via strong teamwork
Technical strengths and tactical ability to deliver dossiers and data
Effectively employ qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods to yield objective insights, and incorporate insights into decision criteria
