Technical Program Manager, Enterprise Applications
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is looking for an experienced technical program manager to join our Los Angeles based US IT team.
This role will focus on the operational needs of US based enterprise applications and the change management components associated with these systems.
This role requires partnering closely with the different functional groups / departments both within IT and across the organization.
Although primarily IT focused, this role will act as the liaison between IT and the business for applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience ensuring that implemented solutions and integrations continue to address business needs, align with wholistic technology strategies and are simple yet scalable.
The candidate will also be comfortable understanding the architecture, configuration, and customization of enterprise software.
Job Profile :
Based in LA, the Program Manager, Enterprise Applications will report directly to the US IT VP of Business Solutions. As the organization is in the midst of a major transformation including integration with global corporate standards, processes, and tools, this position will support the critical operations for current technologies supporting US business teams and ultimately the US portion of the global operating platform.
Fully own and drive operations around the current programs, initiatives, and day to day activities for the existing applications in the portfolio
Provide guidance and hands-on oversight during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
Lead the effort to manage timelines and resource availability across existing and requested projects and priorities including the management and prioritization of new requests
Interface with Engineering, Business Analysis, Financial Applications, Digital, Infrastructure teams and external third-party partners
Manage resources or parts of teams as required, including historical applications on the path to be phased out (TM1 team, for instance)
Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and coordination across teams
Define and own metrics and key performance indicators
Facilitate delivery partnership and ensure leadership visibility occurs to enable on-time, on budget delivery of group initiatives
Ensure successful delivery execution of large complex projects / programs consisting of multiple cross-functional / organizational teams in collaboration with the enterprise PMO
Provide timely visibility of critical business-impacting technology issues to business and technology leaders
Participate in continuous delivery improvement efforts by providing input into an enterprise framework for program management aligned with modern agile, lean and design thinking practices
Provide leadership and oversight to a team of project and business engagement managers who coordinate delivery and communications
Required skills :
8+ years of engineering, technology, consulting or program management experience
Strong business knowledge of enterprise business processes and associated applications in industry (ERP, CRM, Budgeting & Forecasting, Data)
Experience working with engineering development and ops teams in DevOps model
Experience delivering both package and custom-developed software
Demonstrated understanding of modern software development tools, processes and practices, including the agile framework
Creative and flexible mindset to planning and problem-solving, ability to lean into the details while maintaining the big picture
Strength in building partnerships; working collaboratively internally and externally, proven influencing skills
High degree of financial acumen with proven track record of planning and executing on the financial aspect of deliverables
Demonstrated track record of aligning IT objectives and programs to business objectives and strategies
Proven ability to provide executive level communication
Strong executive presence and experience advising and interfacing with business leadership
