    If you’re sitting there scratching your head while reading this and wondering how you could possibly be part of simplifying the complexities of equity compensation , keep reading to the bottom and you’ll find out!We currently have a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Market Development DirectorLocated in either Croydon, UK or Barcelona, Spain and reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for delivering to the business unit’s sales goals and reinforcing Shareworks by Morgan Stanley as the Market leader.

    The Market Development Director will be focused on driving new relationships and revenue and is confident about their ability to close new business.

    You will be accountable for delivering to the Company’s recurring revenue goals, contributing in meaningful ways to a high-performing sales organization and ensuring that every prospect / client interaction shows our quality & integrity.Key Accountabilities :

  • Build meaningful relationship with existing clients and new prospects to build their awareness of our services and how our uniqueness brings advantages to our clients
  • Listen carefully, communicate with empathy and show initiative and leadership at all times
  • Liaise and collaborate with global colleagues on multi-national revenue opportunities
  • Maintain strong market analysis and segmentation strategies
  • Deliver sales revenue against an individual sales quota and aspire to exceed your targets
  • Ensure you utilise and collaborate with your expert colleagues within Shareworks by Morgan Stanley to deliver the highest quality sales experience possible to the market and our clients and prospective clients think about : oAnnual account reviews with Relationship Managers to consider learnings and improvements to strengthen the client experienceoClose liaison with Marketing to ensure all materials appropriate for market needoSupporting Billing colleagues to get the all-important details rightoFull support of Operations colleagues who are the driving force to make it all happen in the best way possible
  • Develop and deliver consistent pricing methodology
  • Maintain reliable and transparent sales pipeline activities and on-demand reporting
  • Deliver accurate and timely maintenance of Salesforce administration and reporting
  • Secure and close business efficiently and in a timely way to ensure optimal Client satisfaction
  • Ownership of RfPs and RfIs
  • Qualifications :

  • Significant and demonstrable experience of delivery success in an Account Management / Sales role (ideally selling enterprise cloud solutions to leading multinationals)
  • A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in Business, Economics or Finance
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with the confidence to work with senior leadership, both internally and externally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills (we need you to be confident in your spelling, grammar and numerical output)
  • Superior problem-solving skills, but with the common sense to escalate when appropriate
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and works well as a self-starter with minimal direction
  • A deep belief in team success, collaboration and a willingness to adapt to continuous change
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies. Solid understanding of cloud-based technologies, e-commerce and equities
  • Fluency in written and verbal English is a must; fluency in additional languages considered an asset
  • Demonstrated proficiency with common technology e.g. email, internet, Excel and Word
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task, including escalating when appropriate
  • The right to work in the UK / Europe, and ability to travel throughout Europe and the UK
