position summary :
The Flight Safety department is in charge of three main activities : accident investigations, Safety Management System within ATR, as well as accident prevention.
The job holder will be assisting the Regional Flight Safety Director in detecting prevention opportunities and putting in place mitigation actions.
main responsabilities :
The job holder will primarily focus on the following tasks :
Build a risk matrix map of all ATR operators
Track risk mitigation actions
More generally, he / she will assist the Regional Safety Plan director in the following tasks :
Gather all inputs in order to build a risk matrix per operator. The job holder will be given the report issued by an intern on the matter.
Propose a process to keep the risks per operator up-to-date.
Propose means to build a risk matrix map of all ATR operators. The goal is to have a tool easy to update (regular new inputs), self-
explanatory in terms of risks, able to highlight priorities.
Participate to the monthly Regional Safety Steering Committee in order to propose / track mitigation actions.
Develop the Safety Performance Indicators that will enable to measure the efficiency of the system
Monitor and evaluate the results of corrective actions
key skills / key personal attributes / experience required :
Technical skills (5-6 key competences) : flight operations Safety Management System Air Operator Certificate regulatory requirements International Safety Programs (e.g. IOSA, USOAP, )
Language skills (and level)
English : negotiation level
IT skills (tools) Pack Office Web : useful information to feed the tool (e.g. : automatic connection between ICAO webpage and the tool) Basic knowledge in database would be a plus
Soft skills (2-3 key skills) Creativity : eye-catching results rigorous Autonomous
