DESCRIPTION : Job Summary
The Storage Sales Specialists is a quota carrying sales executive (50% fixed salary & 50% Variable salary) focused on acquiring new storage business for Dell.
The Storage Sales Specialists will be opportunity driven sales maker, aligned to territories. This individual will work closely with existing account teams to build, develop & execute a strategic plan.
He will be as well responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new storage opportunities.
Effectively qualify & forecast storage opportunities while building and accurately managing a pipeline of deals from the discovery stage to closure.
Ensure that each opportunity is effectively managed end to end through the sales cycle
Understand competitive environment and influence Dells point of view.
Identify key decision makers / influencers within account to correctly qualify opportunities in the sales process.
Understand competitors products / technologies, anticipate their moves and deploy winning sales tactics / overcome objections.
Must have proven ability to engage CXO level.
Must have proven ability to acquire new business new storage business
Must have proven experience building business cases, working understanding of corporate finance with regard to budgeting, potential buying patterns, capital / expense outlay, asset ownership and service delivery requirements.
Must command a level of technical expertise which enables effective communication of the solution.
Must have proven experience as a quota carrying sales executive, meeting performance goals and sales objectives.
Must have previous experience in selling storage solutions and experience with storage solutions including Unified Storage, BRS, Archiving, DR solutions and related software solutions.
Possesses excellent skills in : relationship building, negotiations, organization / planning, time management, ability to work in a matrix environment, communication (verbal and written), presentations.
Minimum 5 - 10 years industry experience
