Job Purpose :
Sales trading person dedicated to French, Belgium and Luxembourg financial institutions.
Job Background / context :
The FraBeLux Equity sales trading activity of Citi has managed to gain a strong position compared to competition. It has become a key to success for the reputation and visibility of our firm in this region.
Maintaining and growing our footprint requests a large coverage of all actors of this business in the region. The role also requests a clear knowledge of markets and derivative products as well as trading aspects.
The person in charge needs solid communication skills and a strong commitment.
Key Responsibilities :
Establish relationship with dealing desk or PMs in Frabelux and liaise with traders to facilitate client business either via single, electronic or program trading.
Give descriptions of flows and themes occurring in the markets.
Delivering a high level of customer service
Market all Citi execution capabilities as well as other products like Delta 1 or Prime finance.
Compliance and legal aspects
Run business within Citi rules and monitor regulation changes
Close Cooperation with product head in London
Onboarding of new institutional clients.
Development Value :
Ability to be proactive and act as a owner to develop new relationships.
Ability to share existing historical relationship with Citi colleagues.
Knowledge / Experience :
The candidate should have previous industry experience within a trading floor environment (Analyst level). He / she should have an excellent understanding of Equity execution function.
Must have a strong technical knowledge including and have prior experience in markets product.
Candidate should have previous industry experience in Equity Execution.
He / she should possess excellent communication skills, take initiative and be self dependant.
Good degree of numeracy, accuracy and an eye for detail.
Proactive attitude and main focus on clients within internal guidelines.
Candidate should demonstrate high achievement at educational and self-learning activities.
Should be a motivated self-starter. Work well under pressure. Enthusiastic, hardworking and confident.

A desire to tackle with issues and improve situations.
French mother tongue and English fluency (written and spoken) is essential.
