Sells assigned quotas of semiconductor capital equipment, supplies, and services within markup guidelines and operating budgets throughout an identified territory or region.

Assigned territory for this position : France / Benelux / French Switzerland


  • Collaborates with Sales Management to ensure objectives and goals are met
  • Identifies and calls on key decision makers, including management representatives at identified and prospective accounts to persuade and convince prospective clients of desirability and superior value of products or services offered
  • Documents all necessary aspects of complex selling factors related to the prospective customer’s needs, including the identification of and ability to overcome any customer concerns and objections which need to be overcome in order to obtain necessary order(s)
  • Implements account selling strategies and tactics to coordinate necessary corporate resources resulting in addressing and overcoming customer concerns or objections
  • Recommends, where appropriate, technical services available to clients related to the use, operation and maintenance of the company’s equipment.
  • Maintains proficiency in both technical and business aspects of purchase negotiations including process specifications, hardware configurations terms and conditions
  • Develops, maintains and submits current sales information, including forecasts, customer database information, account profiles, sample requests and trip reports
  • Ensures cost effective time and territory management within company policies to maximize direct contact with existing and prospective customers

    No supervisory responsibilities


  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration or other related discipline, and
  • Five plus years’ experience of field sales & territory management, preferably in the capital equipment arena
  • Preferably with experience in plasma processing equipment
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, major credit card (for business travel), Visas and Passport

  • Proficiency in the use of & usual suite of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to interpret technical journals and papers, and other related material
  • Ability to communicate effectively interdepartmentally and externally with customers, and other contacts such as vendors
  • Ability to compile technical reports and present technical material to internal and external groups
  • Ability to travel as required supporting Sales activities for new or prospective business.
  • Ability to negotiate technical aspects of purchase (including process specifications, hardware configurations, and commercial terms and conditions)

  • The normal work environment is typical of a business office, manufacturing laboratory, and clean room
  • The incumbent is routinely required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, touch, see, and hear, and may be required to lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • While performing the regular duties of the position, the incumbent may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, or possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • The incumbent must be able to wear safety equipment and follow safety instructions
