Purpose of the Job
Lead the implementation of a step change in Rolling Stock key shop floor, Supply Chain, Industrialization processes.
Support critical sites for operations and enable site leadership to continue to drive an action plan to achieve APSYS levels of 3+
Promote Lean Six Sigma through training, coaching and mentoring. Play a role model function for positive, analytical, data driven and target oriented mindset.
Site support :
Lead most complex workshops with local teams to improve performance on demanding or critical sites around Operations topics (Shopfloor, Industrial and Supply Chain)
Organize physical support on demanding sites to improve APSYS (Alstom Transport Production SYStem) maturity through workshops
Action plan follow up for all the workshops
Diagnose business break through’ improvement opportunities at priority sites
Mobilize specific specialist resource to assemble Focused Improvement team
Value capture improvements, converted to financial results
Project Manage &facilitate improvements to successful conclusion at the site
Ensure all improvements are sustainable before withdrawing; stable processes with trained leaders
Training / Communication APSYS
Support through workshops and trainings APSYS roadmap evolution for all RSC Operations using local / regional organization
Provide on site’ practical Lean Manufacturing application support, with a Teach-Do’ approach
Train, Teach, coach yellow and green belt candidates
Identify Best practices to be shared with Operations and APSYS
Ideal Candidate
University degree in engineering or operations management
Senior leadership positions in Operations or Project Management (min 5 year)
Good knowledge on Lean Tools
Demonstrated presentation & facilitation skills
Demonstrated change management skills
Fluent in English & at least one other language ( French, German or Spanish) with international experience
