The maintenance planner is responsible for :
Writing and updating PM and task list plans.
Assisting with planning Pit Stops and other short outages.
Preparing job cost estimates.
Properly applying Kraton Location Specifications and Requirements.
Identifying and procuring material required for assigned work orders.
Developing accurate estimates of assigned area maintenance work.
Developing detailed job plan libraries (i.e. Canned Plan Library).
Incorporating updated information / feedback from field supervision on job plans.
Tracking job estimates vs. actual job cost and set goal of + / - 10 % as maximum difference.
Improve Work Time management :
Completing field visits as required ensuring safety, accuracy, and completeness of job plans.
Collaborating with the Gatekeepers to ensure Gatekeeping is meeting the AM work process’ planning needs.
Monitoring the executable backlog ensuring sufficient level of planned work is available to be scheduled.
Submits to the field supervisors planned work for execution by the technicians and craftsmen.
Accepts feedback on the work plan from the technicians, craftsmen, craft foremen, field supervisors and area maintenance supervisors to revise and improve the job plans and related documents.
Maintaining the AM Planning planning board on a weekly basis.
Computer literate, MS Office applications.
Proficient with SAP maintenance module.
Proficient with Excel.
Oral and Written Communication Skills.
Detailed knowledge and experience with Asset Maintenance Work Processes.
Maintenance Planning Tools.
Materials & Supply Systems.
Reviews all maintenance work orders.
Garners approval from the gatekeeper to prepare the job plan.
Inspects the job site and detail plans all maintenance work in his assigned areas.
Education, Certifications & Licenses
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
