Beaumont at Natick is seeking a full time MDS / MMQ Coordinator, responsible for the coordination of MDS’s for Care Planning.
Continually assesses MMQ documentation for regulatory compliance and financial reimbursement.
COVID 19 Considerations : In compliance with DPH regulations, all staff are required to be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
Responsibilities :
Schedules and chairs weekly care plan meetings.
Distributes schedule of resident / patient care plans to be reviewed at said meeting to appropriate staff.
Revises schedule as needed due to admissions, discharges, level of care changes, hospitalizations, etc.
Prepares for MMQ turn-around document reviews.
Monitors and assesses monthly nursing summaries and related documentation.
Provides appropriate feedback concerning documentation to staff when necessary.
Follows up on changes necessary on assessments monthly and as needed.
Completes MMQ’s when necessary.
Maintains competency in MDS and MMQ documentation by attending seminars, reading nursing journals, etc.
Conducts inservice training for staff as necessary.
Qualifications :
Massachusetts license in Nursing to level of education.
Experience or attendance of a RAI Process Course.
