As Assystem’s business grows, we are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and outcome focused project administrator to support the business, working our of our offices in Blackburn, located just off the M65

Key Responsibilities

The following is a non-exhaustive list of core responsibilities :

  • Support to the collation of information for and the production of project and business reports
  • Maintenance and update of project and commercial registers (e.g. change register, work-order register)
  • Organisation of and minute taking at meetings when required
  • Update, maintenance, and archiving of project registers, files and records
  • Act as the main point of contact for visitor passes
  • Support to the coordination of travel logistics
  • Collation and reporting of project and business statistics such as performance and / or health and safety KPIs
  • Creating and updating spreadsheets, word documents, and slide-decks
  • Production and maintenance of stakeholder maps
  • Data entry
  • Photocopying, printing and scanning
  • Filing and archiving a background doing similar would be preferred.
  • Act as a point of contact for visitors
  • Security clearance

    Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance.


    Experience, Skills and Qualifications :


    To be considered for this position, you must have :

    Minimum education standard of 5 GCSEs grades A-C or equivalent including English and Maths

    Ability to obtain a minimum of BPSS Security Clearance

    Good working Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word, and Outlook

    Good organisational and communication skills

    An ability to maintain an attention to detail when dealing with repetitive tasks

    Excellent literacy and IT skills

    An ability to use own initiative and work independently

    An ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

    A team player

    An ability to learn in house systems


    Knowledge and / or experience in cost control or reporting

    Knowledge and / or experience of project and / or business reporting

    Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards

    Knowledge and / or introductory qualifications related to project management and / or the nuclear industry
