Job Description : Mission :

Mission :

The Strategic Account Manager is a senior field sales responsible for the billings and margins growth of the assigned Accounts.

He acts as a leader and coordinate all actions between his / her customers, all teams inside Arrow and the Vendors.

Key impact :

  • Understand, evangelize and deploy the Arrow value proposition : strategy, positioning, services offering (training, support, Global Delivery, financial services, )
  • Capture customers’ needs and build concrete business outcomes
  • Has a strong market knowledge : partners, Vendors, competition, market trends and opportunities
  • Build, quantify and execute a Strategic Account Plan per Strategic Account
  • Drive negotiations with his / her customers : rebate plans, win-backs, resources, margins, deals
  • Manage a strong presence and build business relationships at all levels
  • Create a strong network on the market
  • Organize regular Execs meetings between Arrow and the customers

  • Plan and execute strategic initiatives
  • Detect and create business opportunities and leads
  • Manage partner’s enablement
  • Promote Arrow’s portfolio and strategy : product, services, Cloud, IoT
  • Win-back Brands from competition
  • Coordinate marketing activities with the marketing team and the Brand Managers
  • Participate to end customers meetings if necessary
  • Internally :

  • As a coordinator, the Strategic Account Manager is working with multiple Arrow’s departments (Brands, Finance, Operations, Services, ) to insure business growth and customer satisfaction from quote to delivery
  • He is working closely with the Brand Managers to elaborate sales and marketing development plans
  • With Vendors :

  • Share actions and business plans with Vendors sales force
  • Manage pipeline
  • Participate to appropriate Vendor’s events
  • Education : from Bac+2 to Bac+5, sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT sector
