JOB PURPOSE :

Reporting to the Network Build Manager, you will oversee all aspects of a Project Portfolio including planning, organizing, staffing, executing, and controlling activities following defined processes.

As referent you support a team of worldwide PM.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES :

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

  • Plan & organize Project / Program
  • Plan / organize the delivery of the Project / Program and its activities in accordance with the Global transformation roadmaps, Governance process & standard IS&T operating model
  • Contribute to optimize delivery model following defined sourcing strategy
  • Propose & implement initiatives to optimize plan / cost / quality
  • Ensure that Project activities follow standard methodology, process and tools
  • Apply templates and records to document Project / Program activities following our standards
  • Staff Project / Program
  • Contribute to define the capacity plan, skill matrix and adapt the sourcing model
  • Ensure that capacity plan for the Project / Program are maintained timely
  • Lead Project
  • Contribute to the Project / Program strategy definition
  • Manage the Project / Program plan scope / resources and benefits
  • Manage Project interdependencies within the Program
  • Identify and mitigate risks drive out barriers to success, escalate as needed
  • Manage Project staff by providing direction, input and feedback
  • Communicate with all stakeholders to gain community support for the Project / Program and to solicit input to improve the Project / Program
  • Control Project
  • Report Project / Program status timely and following standards
  • Ensure that the Project / Program operates within the approved budget / scope
  • Monitor all budgeted Project expenditures
  • Ensure that all financial records for the Project / Program are up to date
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with Project / Program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks
  • Use the Project evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the Project / Program and to identify areas for improvement (lessons learned)

  • MAIN CHALLENGES OF THE ROLE :

  • Be accountable and Lead Project / Program while delegating the delivery to partners
  • Work in a matrix organisation with lots of functional reporting
  • PROFILE :

    To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills, experiences and attributes :

  • Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, you have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Infrastructure Project / Program management or IS&T Management (project management certifications preferred).
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification required.

  • You have a strong knowledge and experience of Infrastructure (Network and Network security) .
  • Network Certification (CCNP)
  • Firewall Comprehension (Fortigate)
  • LAN / WIFI deployment experience.
  • Previous experience in MPLS deployment
  • Meraki solution
  • As a Project Manager you demonstrate strong communication, leadership and change management skills.
  • You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
  • Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
