Then you've come to the right place; Freddy is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Engineer in Bretagne, France, for a major project in the offshore activity.
You will be responsible for :
Driving engineering safety and relevant processes based on quality assurance approach by applying methodologies as such hazard analysis, risk assessment under European harmonized standards; fault tree analysis.
Developping the safety, rescue and evacuation concept for the Offshore Substation against general windfarm set up
Verifying the Offshore Substation's fire protection concept, and in doubt, seek consult from fire protection expert or French authorities
Commenting and review installation and commissioning procedures with a focus on machine and plant safety
Setting up an 'audit program' so that the manufacturer and its (sub-)contractors are audited, selected and qualified against industry best practice, legal and quality requirements, including on effective and documented follow-up actionsDevelop and apply a sound understanding of European harmonized standards and drive the verification of conformity to assure machine and plant safety
Providing constant H&S management support to the project site by assuring through regular meetings, walk-downs and reporting through the site team
Who are you ?
Holder of an engineering or bachelor degree in the Health & Safety field, you will be
5 years of experience in the offshore wind field or 10 years in plant engineering background, you will have
A good understanding or desire for European and harmonized Health & Safety (legislative) requirements, you will have
A knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 would be beneficial
A fluent french and english, you will talk. Spanish would be beneficial
Some travels are expected in France, England, Ireland, Spain and offshore assignments.
