Airbus R&T in the wing perimeter has focused a lot in the past years on the structural and industrial aspects, resulting in the Wing Of Tomorrow concepts and ground prototypes.
Improvements will be possible using Disruptive Wing technologies, focusing on wing performance.
The Actuator Designer and Work Package Leader (M / F) position is within Airbus UpNext subsidiary in France. It consists of a 3 years contract (CDI-C).
The job holder will work within the Overall Systems Design team with the main responsibilities as below :
Define and deliver the actuators for the new wing pop-up spoilers and foldable wingtip (FWT) ailerons, as well as the carrier A / C rudder and elevators :
The tasks could also evolve during the course of the project, so being flexible is important.
Your Boarding Pass :
The successful candidate will be required to work very closely with the Loads and Airframe teams as well as the other actuators design teams.
You should have good skills in collaborative work with a good understanding of interface management and practical problem solving.
