We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative for our Life Sciences Solutions Group . The Global Service & Support segment of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Life Sciences Group has an exciting opportunity to expand the reach of our Instrument Service Contract offerings and help drive revenue growth within our division.
The Service Inside Sales Representative will align and drive the following guiding principles of sales execution :
Key responsibilities :
Focus on hunting’ for new business opportunities to increase contract attachment rate in assigned territory, as well as convert warranties into service contracts and renew service contracts
Meet or exceed a defined Service Sales plan; forecast Sales performance accurately
Make daily outbound telephone calls and communicate via email to all organizational levels and functional areas in accounts where purchasing decisions are made
Capitalize on training opportunities to develop in depth knowledge of Service and Support offerings (Service contracts and support plans, time and materials billable services, bioinformatics and compliance services) in order to proactively uncover new opportunities within assigned accounts to generate revenue growth
Develop organizational skills to work within cross functional teams to achieve organizational objectives, manage sales territory activities and communicate efforts clearly within other levels of the organization
Understand the competitive landscape within accounts to position like or better product offerings to customers
Communicate key competitive activities, market trends, and changing customer directions to the organization
Utilize data sources to analyze and develop sales opportunities with the greatest ROI
Support marketing programs as assigned by the Sales Manager
Complete assigned tasks and reports in a timely and complete manner while maximizing productivity during key selling time
Minimum Qualifications :
Proven track of record in sales (preferably min. 2 years)
Experience in telephone sales as well as experience with working from home-office would be an advantage;
Experience of working in the Life Science Sector would be an advantage
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines;
You enjoy working in a team and managing projects as part of a team;
Strong sales, communication and relationship building skills
Excellent communication skills in Italian and English language (at least B1 level)
Excellent administration and organizational skills
Ability to plan and manage various tasks towards defined deadlines
Computer literacy in 'Microsoft Office' Word, Excel, PowerPoint
