MAKE IT #1 aims at implementing common IT Tools for our business. In order to enable seamless development and roll out of these new tools, Imerys IT is also evolving from a division centric IT organization to a more integrated structure with a strong regional IT platform.
Group IT Application implements and enforces standards and policies as defined by the Group. Group IT Application designs, builds and deploys Business Area solutions and applications.
This position is part of Group IT Application organization.
The IT Solution Expert responsibility is to ensure the success of the SAP Core Model project by providing a functional and technical drive to solution components during and after the SAP Core Model rollouts across Imerys Business Areas.
The IT Solution Expert’s prime responsibility is to direct solution design and build, maintain a high level of IT expertise and manage the resulting maintenance and evolution cycles for SAP Core Model.
The IT Solution Expert is in charge of managing the solution definition and maintenance on his / her domain.
The role reports directly to the Accounting and Controlling Stream Lead.
Key interfaces, stakeholders and relationships :
IT Competency Centers, IT Solution Experts, Rollout teams, Business Process Owners, Group Master Data & Process director, Functional Heads and Direct reports, Process experts, External providers (e.
g. Consulting companies, Software editors, Technology & Tools for Automation ).
Travel : 5% to 10% during the SAP Core Model project
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The main missions of the IT Solution Expert are to :
1. SAP Core Model Design and Build :
Follow the SAP Core Model methodology from preparation to user acceptance
This includes the responsibility of application activities related to business requirements, analysis, solution design leading configuration, testing, documentation, training and acceptance
Work closely with his / her counterpart in the IT consulting companies
2. SAP Core Model Rollout and Improvement :
Ensure close relationship with SAP Core Model teams for deployments across Imerys Business Areas to ensure knowledge transfer and standard compliance with Make IT#1 rollout methodology
Ensure that Change Requests are properly understood and approved by Business Process Owners before any configuration and / or development
Ensure that the Business Requirements are effectively addressed through maximal and optimal standard configuration
Promote the SAP Core Model Methodology across IT organization
Key to the success of this role is the on-going link and close cooperation with key SAP Core Model players like IT Application streams, Business Process Owners, IT Competency Centers and other Stakeholders involved in the design, rollout and life of SAP Core Model.
Level of education / qualifications normally required :
Master degree in Information System, Master in Management degree
Specific work experience :
6+ years of experience in SAP implementation for Accounting and Controlling
Experience in a team geographically dispersed (multicultural management experience)
The purpose of the job is to ensure that the business requirements are effectively addressed with the chosen solution through maximal and optimal standard configuration or development
Internal customer satisfaction :
Ensure the quality and timeliness of deliveries and guarantee the global consistency of the ERP Core Model
Functional and technical skills :
Strong business and functional knowledge on Accounting or Controlling activities with excellent understanding on integration with other processes such as Sales, Purchases,...
Have a strong expertise with SAP S4 Hana (and / or SAP ECC) and interfaces design for finance related master data / Accounting flows.
Have a good knowledge and understanding of application architecture
Ability to lead specific studies / assignments with internal and / or external resources and functions
