The Marketing Manager will be accountable for the development and tactical delivery of Omnicell communications and marketing strategy supporting our growth in France.

Title : Marketing Manager (France)

Essential Functions :

In order to work effectively as Marketing Manager the position is expected to :

  • Assist and coordinate downstream marketing activities for the product portfolio.
  • Operational implementation of the off-line and online communication plan : collaboration with the Head of Communication / Marketing Germany and with the General Manager in France
  • Responsible for maintaining brand management and corporate identity in local market.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Give direction to, and manage relationship with, graphic designers, PR agencies and advertising partners.
  • Assist in the planning and execution in local tradeshows, user groups, and customer events.
  • Coordinate the development of marketing materials, including product brochures, newsletters, press releases and email campaigns.
  • Assist in preparation of draft proposals and product presentations for customer account pitches.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with internal marketers in international offices supporting, clarifying and interpreting requests to ensure local needs are met.
  • Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors.
  • Produce clear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and emails and reports in order to analyze the performance of communication actions put in place
  • Manage specific customer relations as needed for promotional activities.
  • Support new product launches.
  • Work across the company as part of an interactive, interdependent customer focused team. Share information and best practices to improve efficiencies.
  • Update the customer database on the CRM as required
  • Content writing and website maintenance
  • Required Knowledge and Skills :

  • The successful candidate will have the following skills;
  • Higher education, BAC + 3 / 4 or Master level (business school or curriculum specialized in Marketing, Communication), you should have experience of at least 3 years in the function.

    Knowledge of the pharmacy or hospital market is a real advantage but not essential.

  • English is required, German an advantage but not essential
  • Microsoft Office, Internet, Outlook
  • Mastery of Photoshop or Gimp would be a plus
  • Creativity, initiative and curiosity
  • Rigor, versatility; time and priority management,
  • Dynamism, diplomacy and autonomy
  • Gifted with listening skills, your enthusiasm and your ability to work in a team with many stakeholders at the international level will certainly allow you to meet the objectives entrusted to you!

    Work Conditions :

  • Base : Vendenheim / Strasbourg,
  • Willing to travel extensively across France and with occasional international travel (Germany and UK primarily)
  • Potential for occasional overnight stays
