The Position

Logistics - Project & Continuous Improvement Manager


Thanks to cross-functional work with other departments (CS, Purchasing, Opérations), define and execute logistics improvement program to enhance cost competitiveness, efficiency of processes, practices and logistics organisations and service level.

Ensure that people in Logistics departments are well trained to perform as well as possible their job. Organize skills development paths.


Support analysis of logistics processes, practices and KPIs to enable improvement initiatives generation in collaboration with various stakeholders (in the BA and outside of the BA).

Generates detailed continuous improvement initiatives across PM EMEA logistic department to feed the pipeline of savings and improve service level to our customers.

Develop a portfolio of projects to support yearly logistics performance plan implementation.

Ensure that these projects are lead by relevant projects leaders and follow their achievements through QuiméO.

Lead him / herself specific projects for instance for logistics digitalization (Industry 4.0).

Closely work with Logistic Purchasing / Sales / CS teams to permanently be aware of new evolutions that could be useful to develop logistics performance (benchmarking with other companies, new tools / app ).

Share good practices within the logistics departments.

Ensure that the transport plan across EMEA countries and assets is well implemented

Monitor logistic supplier contracts performance and share it with the purchasing team.

Maintain logistics optimization expertise and ensure that all the people in all logistics departments are well trained. Organize or deliver training sessions to develop skills.

Location : Europe, preferable Paris

Strong project management skills

Ability to positively influence teams in a matrix organisation

Ability to organize training path for logistics people

Communication skills including solid writing and presentation abilities

Ideal background / experience

Master degree in Supply chain

Good level of English

7 years experience in logistics

Position preferably based in Paris
