Job Description

The job position is open in NAVBLUE / Ground solutions / Performance and Weight & Balance solutions & services. The jobholder will work in close cooperation with Airbus Customer Services / Flight Operations Support and Training standards team.

The mission is to provide support, training, tools and operational documentation to Airbus operators on all Airbus civil aircraft.

Activities are categorized in 5 areas :

  • Support : answer to questions from operators
  • Documentation : contribution to the development of the operational documentation (Weight and Balance Manual - WBM - essentially).
  • Projects : contribution to aircraft development for operational Weight and Balance considerations
  • Training : contribution to the development of training material, execution of training sessions in Airbus training facilities (Toulouse, Beijing, Miami, Bangkok) or customer base.
  • Development : contribution to the evolution of software tools (customer applications) supporting Weight and Balance computation (Load and Trimsheet Software, Flysmart+).
  • Main missions and tasks, responsibilities

    As a Flight Operations Engineer, your main tasks and responsibilities will include :

    The support of weight and balance operations, in contact with our customers (airlines) and internally with the design office, marketing, program, and services organizations.

    After an induction period you will have the opportunity to become an instructor, task leader on an aircraft program, or business representative of our digital solutions.

    You will work in an environment that is multicultural (customers diversity), and multi-tasking (activities triggered by customer requests).
