PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Operational Quality Assurance Inspector supports the operational cells in implementing, managing and improving all quality relevant elements, such as product quality requirements, the process preparation, in process control, feedback / feed forward, and quality process management.

They support the cells in correct usage of Q6 elements to ensure quality and to optimize the problem solving process. They execute as well quality control and inspection activities according to the defined process.

Responsibilities

  • Quality control and inspection activities
  • Complete inspection documentation
  • Report every non-compliance in the system
  • Root Cause Analysis; identification of reoccurring and systematic problems
  • Support the effective problem solving by leading and conducting problem solving processes
  • Support feedback process and integration of lessons learnt into causing functions
  • Perform quality control of welding processes
  • Close collaboration with methods, the manufacturing and continuous improvement area
  • Guarantee a healthy and safe working environment for all the employees
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant role
  • Very good knowledge of quality standards and quality checks
  • Very good knowledge of products and their acceptance criteria
  • Knowledge of welding processes
  • Analytical skills, ability to conduct problem solving processes using structured problem solving methods
  • Fluent in French and English intermediate
  • Knowledge of rail industry would be a plus
