Context and environment
The company has a plan to have 35 GW in operation by 2025 and 100 GW by 2030 of renewables plants. A proportion of these (expected to increase over time) will require CPPAs to offtake the project volumes and secure revenues.
CPPAs is a rapidly growing part of the off-taker of energy. It is a relatively new part of REN and needs to scale and develop quickly in order to compete and secure outlets / secure revenues to allow the increased speed of development of the project pipelines.
The CPPA team’s role is to (i) define our CPPA solutions and create competitive advantage (ii) to create a customer culture and manage the customer interface for CPPAs (iii) to help find and develop prospects and direct the developers to find projects that match the customer solution and geographical needs.
