To sustain the development of our business unit Urgo Medical, we are looking for a junior global brand manager to integrate our global marketing team.

Urgo Medical is the Advanced Wound Care division of Urgo Group. To fight the burden of wounds around the world, our mission as the Healing Company is to alleviate and heal patients suffering of wounds by providing them with the most appropriate treatments and protocols of care.

To make a difference for patients, we highly invest on R&D programs and public-private partnerships to improve scientific knowledge and treatments in advanced wound care (10% of our annual sales).

We demonstrate the clinical efficacy of our products with nearly 55 studies conducted and 40 scientific publications.

With more than 1 000 people spread over 22 countries, Urgo Medical has experienced a 10% growth over the past years and achieved a turnover of 400 million euros in 2018.

In 2017, we took the second place in the European advanced wound care market.

Junior Global Brand Manager Position at Urgo Medical

based in Paris, France

Responsibilities :

  • Market analysis & brand planning : Understands the brand’s market potential & sources of growth per countryDevelops a deep understanding of the competitive environment in priority pathology & leads the competitive watch Demonstrates ability to segment a market , select optimal target audiences and position effectively for the target segment.
  • Develops deep customer insights Supports global brand manager in developing the global brand plan in priority pathology

  • Development & roll-out of communication campaigns : Supports global strategy for the brand and maximizes global sales turnover by supporting the clear direction for global execution of the brand strategy with the Global Brand ManagerCollaborates closely with key stakeholders including country-level brand managers, market research, medical affairs, regulatory and innovation teams.
  • Support to local markets to achieve brand ambition : Develops high impact promotional campaigns, aligned with customer insights & brand positioning , in collaboration with the country-level brand managersIn close contact with local brand managers, supports sales & market share ambition in priority markets (challenging plans & roll-out, providing lead campaigns, ensure best practice sharing)Supports new markets in product launches (providing best practices & customer insights, challenging brand plans, providing marketing toolkits)
  • PR & Congresses : Supports communication on the brand at a scientific level in congresses
  • Activity monitoring : Evaluates impact of its projects (promotional campaigns, congresses, ) on the markets (IMPAKT)Follow-up & analyses brand performance at global and local level, through deep sales & MS analysis
  • Desired Skills and Experience :

  • 1-2 years of marketing experience; medical device or pharmaceutical marketing preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated evidence of growing brands, identifying growth opportunities and gaining alignment to execute against a strategic growth plan.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team-based culture
  • Proven skills in the following : brand marketing, market and competitive analysis, customer insights, marketing program development, project planning
  • Ability to inspire and lead brand teams cross-functionally and internationally
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Fluent in english
  • Business degree preferred
