    Gartner projects that more than 60% of online sellers will adopt marketplaces or include third-party sales in their eCommerce ecosystems by the end of 2020.

    To support this rapid adoption of the marketplace model and further accelerate our growth, Mirakl is looking for a Strategic Project - Business Lead for Mirakl Connect .

    Mirakl Connect is one of the most strategic project for Mirakl, which will impact the future of the company and its valuation, it is closely followed by our CEO and highly visible across the entire company.

    We could call it the Marketplace of Marketplaces bringing together on one platform the entire Marketplace ecosystem : Sellers, Partners and Marketplace Operators, which can meet to accelerate their business.

    Mirakl's business model is based on the success of its clients : the Marketplace Operators, and going beyond the technology and being able to fuel their growth with many sellers and with the right partners (payment solutions, translation, marketing solutions.

  • will highly impact their success. Mirakl Connect was launched one year ago in a beta mode, it’s now time to accelerate and fulfil the vision we have for Connect : we are looking for someone to lead this activity on the business side.
  • The Mirakl Connect Business Lead will be responsible for the full efficiency of the platform and for maximizing its business impact for all users : Sellers, Operators and Partners.

    He / She will drive the activity to achieve our 2021 goals :

  • multiply by 10 the number of sellers on the platform
  • onboard more than 300 curated partners technology and service partners
  • have all our Mirakl Marketplaces connected and benefiting from the platform.
  • The Connect Business Lead, Paris bases, will also oversee the Account Management of the platform, managing one Account Manager (at the beginning) in charge of analysing the right KPIs and monitoring the performance of the platform and level of adoption by users.

    This role is truly cross-functional and the Business Lead will work with various teams to succeed :

  • The Seller Recruitment team to set up seller recruitment priorities and targets
  • The Client Success team to ensure Operators’ adoption and gather feedbacks
  • The Product team to align on product priorities and take into account feedbacks from users on the platform
  • The Alliances team to execute the partner strategy in Connect
  • The Sales & Marketing teams to promote and leverage this new great asset externally
  • Requirements

    This job is made for you if :

  • you have 8+ years experience in Consulting and / or E-commerce and / or Marketplaces
  • you speak French and English fluently
  • you can demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to explore new areas.
  • you are very autonomous and have the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • you are very pragmatic and use a test and learn approach
  • you can demonstrate a strong business acumen and identify the right priorities
  • you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and go beyond your scope if needed
