The Digital Communications Manager is in charge of defining the strategy of the Group's online presence, both in terms of contents and channels.

This implies defining the governance of business vs corporate presence on social media channels, rolling out a cross-content / cross-

channel strategy aimed at raising brand awareness, and developing a relevant SEO strategy.

This position will report to the Group Vice President, Corporate Communications.

Objectives :

  • Define & implement a consistent digital channel & content strategy, aligned with business imperatives and targeted at the Group's different stakeholders
  • Define & implement the governance rules of the Group's and its entities' digital presence
  • Drive traffic and brand awareness through a state-of-the art SEO approach, aimed at serving business objectives and generating leads
  • Ensure consistency of U / X on all devices (mobile, tablet and desktop) in conjunction with style guides and best practices.
  • Strategically advise and train internal stakeholders to disseminate a digital culture within the company
  • Tasks :

  • Team up with fellow editorial communications manager to develop a communications planning for the promotion and dissemination of digital corporate content
  • Create, adapt, improve and optimize web communication for GEODIS' organic and keyword search.
  • Build / develop / maintain the company s social media profiles and presence, drive quality content and relevant traffic on Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Recommend and implement a strategy for other, relevant social media outlets and additional channels that may be deemed relevant to support and expand our digital presence (e.
  • g. Facebook, Instagram and YouTube).

  • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company and / or industry, both from existing leads as well as from brand new audiences.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of employee advocacy
  • Monitor communication metrics and KPIs. Provide direct feedback / analytics regarding communication effectiveness. Explore opportunities to increase website traffic, social media presence, newsletter readership .
  • Work closely with all corporate communications functions and develop relationships with other GEODIS divisions to help distribute content that brings value to our audience and support their goals.
  • Profil du candidat

    Experience : a minimum of 8 years of working experience, ideally in an international environment with a certain degree of complexity and demonstrable experience of delivering social media campaigns, producing website content and graphic design.

    Education : Master's Degree (Communication, Social Sciences, Marketing, Journalism, Digital communications .)

    Language : Outstanding command of English and French. Proficiency in other languages is always a plus.

    Learning agility : Quick learner and self-starter. Curiosity and a desire to keep learning.

    Networking & Collaboration : Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.

    Communication skills : An excellent communicator and creative thinker, credible, persuasive and clear in both oral and written presentations.

    Effective interpersonal skills; must be able to relate to and work cross-functionally with a wide variety of professionals across different cultures.

    Organizational agility : ability to navigate in a complex multinational company in an evolving context. Highly developed and effective interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive and controversial issues.

    Acute attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Digital & Technical competencies : Expertise in the latest digital and social media technology and channels and how to best leverage for communication as part of an overall social business strategy.

    Knowledge of relevant software.
