Description of the Department :
The Internal Design Agency (IDA), based in London and Paris, is recognised as being the leader in terms of creative output and quality to the whole company.
The Digital (front end) Designer, Apprentice will be working as part of the in-house design team, producing high-quality on-
brand’ internal / external communication collateral across digital media.
Key accountabilities :
Create impactful digital deliverables (i.e. responsive emailing, newsletter, microsite, digital animated / static banner, mobile & tablet communication etc.)
Act as an ambassador of the AXA IM brand visual identity to our clients
Prioritise projects to meet the demands of our internal clients and design team management
Liaise with internal clients both face to face within the Internal Design Agency (IDA), telephone, video conference and email
Build up strong relationships with Corporate Communications / Global Marketing teams
Be able to come up with creative solutions and articulate back to internal clients in a cohesive way to obtain buy-in
Ability to work under pressure and to work overtime on occasion , often at short notice, to meet internal client’s needs
Have the ability to work individually and within a wider team
Ability to transform design sketches to responsive wireframes and prototypes for functional implementation
Role requirements :
Education / Qualifications / Experience :
Final cycle of interactive design & development school
Knowledge and Skills :
Excellent knowledge of digital communication and web standards
Excellent in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and prototyping software etc.
UX Design and web design skills (responsive design, mobile design, parallax, html animation, etc.)
Be able to create responsive microsite and emailing from scratch
Must have strong skills in typography, layout and digital design
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working with staff at all levels
Be able to create and articulate a digital design brief
Excellent project and time management skills
Maybe required to undergo training in other disciplines or software to assist when necessary
Knowledge of Asset management / Financial services market (advantageous)
Excellent English and French language skills
Deep understanding of and familiarity with the design process
Have strong skills in information design and communication strategy
Both Apple Mac and PC literate
Experience in motion design (advantageous)
This is a 1 year apprenticeship starting from September 2018.
