AIG Europe S.A. is recruiting for its newly established HQ in Luxembourg a CFO who will be responsible for :
ensuring all forms of financial and regulatory reporting are timely and accurate for AIG Europe SA : $3b+ GPW and 19 countries;
represent AIG Europe SA to the regulator regarding all financial matters;
engagement with the AIG Europe SA Board;
managing capital to meet regulatory requirements and dividend commitments whilst meeting targeted agency ratings; optimizing deployment of and returns on capital within those constraints;
overseeing the investment management activities of the company, which are outsourced to AAMEL
engage with executive management as a strategic partner, influencing the future direction of the company and aligning business and finance strategy to grow the business.
instill a financial approach and mind set throughout the organization as a catalyst to help other parts of the business perform better.
designing and implementing change to organizational design, processes and systems to meet current and future reporting obligations;
improving efficiency whilst maintaining control standards consistent with AIG policies and regulatory requirements;
leading in a global, highly matrixed organization going through significant change;
aligning activity of Finance in Continental Europe and with Group;
providing leadership to the AIG Europe SA Board and other functions, notably ERM and Legal whilst supporting others as required; and
leading, mentoring and professionally developing people, making best and highest use of talent including exporting to benefit the wider Group, managing succession plans, fostering a culture of collaboration and promoting and delivering the benefits of working collaboratively to deliver AIG’s strategic objectives
