The position is vacant within the Centre for Energy and Environment, in the research unit working on Atmospheric Sciences.
Since 2013, it has been involved in the construction of the ACTRIS research infrastructure (RI) (), first as a unit of the European Topical Centre for reactive trace gases in-situ measurements (CiGas) then also as a National Facility for its involvement in the ATOLL (Atmospheric Observations in liLLe) observatory platform.
ACTRIS is one of the three RI for global observations of the atmosphere together with ICOS () and IAGOS (). IMT Nord Europe participates in the ATMO-ACCESS H2020 project, which aims at providing sustainable access (physical, remote or virtual) to research infrastructures by developing a pilot for a new model of Integrating Activities.
The Centre for Energy and Environment is looking for a full-time scientific researcher to provide support to Professors Véronique Riffault and Stéphane Sauvage in the process leading to the creation of a Pilot Massive Open On-line Course (MOOC) on European Research Infrastructures for Atmospheric Sciences within the framework of the H2020 ATMO-ACCESS project.
