We are expanding our product marketing team to focus on bringing high assurance solutions to market in the cloud and on premise.

As Product Marketing Manager, You will be responsible for enhancing awareness and thought leadership for HID’s ActivID® Credential Management System (CMS) while expanding the market share worldwide.

You will have a keen understanding of the market and the target audience. You will own delivery of marketing campaigns and enablement for the sales and partner teams.

CMS provides a market proven solution that has seen phenomenal success in the federal government market. We are looking to extend the same success in other markets to deliver high assurance protection by managing credential lifecycles for smart cards, smart tokens or virtual smart cards for secure access to VPNs, computers and applications.

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager for our high Assurance Credential Management System product line delivered both on premise, and in the cloud as a service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven team member to drive the Product Marketing efforts for HID Global’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) software business.

You will own outbound marketing activities and messaging worldwide for the Credential Management System (CMS). CMS is available as a management appliance on premise and in the cloud.

CMS is used by large and medium enterprises issuing employees with converged access cards or smart tokens for authentication, data encryption and data signing.

Additionally, organizations deploying Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards and commercial organizations deploying PIV Interoperable (PIV-

I) or Commercial Identity Verification (CIV) cards will derive value from deploying CMS. CMS is one of HID Global’s leading product categories delivering high assurance, government grade security to commercial enterprises and governments alike.

Additional responsibilities include delivering strategies to increase revenue, drive programs to create awareness, generate leads and establish HID Global as a thought leader in IAM.

You must communicate and collaborate effectively within the business units as well as across the company, including Product Management, Corporate Marketing, Sales, Sales Ops, Corporate Communications and Channel Marketing.

You will support the go-to-market programs including launch planning, collateral, customer presentations, videos, and sales training materials.

Responsibilities

  • Define key buyers and influencers and develop compelling messaging appropriate for each
  • translate sophisticated and complex technical features via real-life scenarios and use cases, into clear, compelling, and memorable stories of end customer value by audience type
  • Develop go-to-market solution and launch strategy, and work with cross-functional marketing / product management / corporate marketing teams to execute high-
  • impact fully-integrated programs that drive pipeline growth, market leadership and awareness

  • Create content including solution datasheets, presentations, white papers, demos, blogs, webcasts, Web content and needle-
  • moving enablement tools

  • Support vertical industry segment marketing directors with product specific content and programs
  • Develop and deliver persuasive presentations including executive briefings, analyst briefings, industry events, webcasts, and trade shows.
  • Anticipate and address needs of various sales and partner channels and geographies

    Skills and Education

  • Must have excellent written communications and strong presentation skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong marketing and project management skills, experienced in cross functional team development in a matrix organization
  • Minimum 4-6 years of product marketing experience with strong understanding of cyber security, identity and access management, advanced authentication etc.
  • Experience with Credentials, PKI encryption, mobile authentication and threat detection are all very desirable.
  • Should be able to demonstrate industry awareness and have a high degree of comfort with enterprise, mobile and cloud-based solutions.
  • Be aware of the fine differences between product marketing and product management and hopefully you know what PM and PMM mean.
  • Proven business and analytical skills to conduct market analysis, and develop and execute go-to-market plans
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills
  • Outstanding ability to work well cross functionally (Team / BU) and with partners and customers
  • Keen interest in technology, the ability to identify and explain technology, product, and market differentiators
  • BS / BA in a technical or marketing discipline required, MBA preferred
