To grow the Coleman & Campingaz brands within the region in a profitable and sustainable manner in accordance with the group’s over-arching strategy and expectations.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Drive sales & marketing objectives through the regional distribution network
  • Develop profitable and long-term relationships with strategic accounts
  • Negotiate with top customers / distributors including any direct Retail accounts
  • Develop excellent relationships with the Finance, Customer Service and Operation teams in France to ensure an efficient and winning culture
  • Development and implementation of short and long-term growth plans and strategies
  • Deliver the annual budget, including sales, gross margin, and EBITDA
  • Update sales forecasts on a monthly basis
  • Together with the Financial Controller track and report financial results and KPI’s
  • Establish and continuously evaluate key measures of performance to ensure that targets are achieved, or corrective actions are implemented
  • Manage the operations and working capital, Accounts Receivable and Inventory
  • Continuously search for better utilization of investment, search for new ideas, for new customers and for new ways to enhance shareholder value
  • Actively participate in the EMEA business development, support new product development & roll out
  • Further develop and implement the distribution strategy and identify white space
  • Collect, analyse and communicate market intelligence to marketing
  • Accountable for all activities relating to sales and marketing in the territory
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8 -10 years’ experience in an international sales role
  • Looking for someone who has previously worked with distributors, retailers including online plus other B2B customers
  • Experience of working in an international company in the durable consumer goods industry
  • Good understanding of P&L management
  • Excellent customer relationship management
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Leadership, high ethical standards, entrepreneurial, participative, team oriented, high sense of urgency
  • Good presentation skills, able to influence, persuade and motivate others even in difficult situations
  • Able to work with transverse teams to achieve his / her P&L goals
  • A business degree would be considered an important asset
  • Needs to be fluent in French & English
  • An affinity with outdoor activities an advantage
  • Location Lyon, but expected to travel up to 50% of the time
