Service Manager

Based : ALSTOM SAINT OUEN IS&T department (FRANCE)


Reporting to the Service delivery an project manager, you will be in charge of the activities relating to Service Catalogue Management for the compute and Cloud team in alignment with the best practices defined within the ITILv3 model.

The role will place particular focus on the quality of service delivered by the supplier in term of Project Offers, Service request ( Cloud and datacenter).

You will create, adapt and maintain Service Catalogue Management process related to compute an cloud activities in all concerned environment ( Cloud and datacenter), Finally you will be accountable of the Service Catalogue management defining all services provided by Compute and Cloud .

You will be to the primary interface between the Compute and Cloud and Providers ( Microsoft and DXC), internal IS&T, Alstom Business Solution functions and Business partners for Service Request Catalogue LifeCycle .


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

  • Partner Service Portfolio
  • Identify and promote the best practices in use within the IS&T organisation
  • Working with internal compute and Cloud team ( Design and operational teams) and our Providers to ensure standard service delivery with a particular focus on Service request and Project Delivery.
  • Ensure Provider standard and contractual service management are applied
  • Communicate understanding of standards
  • Contribute to SLA and Key measurement definition and implementation for each new services
  • Work closely with the other IS&T teams to contribute to the overall IS&T services strategy
  • Manage and contribute to the Escalation process related to Service Catalogue & Project Management.
  • Define and improve all Service Catalogue & Project Management processes related to cloud services
  • Develop working relationships with the other service management functions within IS & T to ensure Service catalogue is aligned with and for business requirements
  • Keep informed of new approaches to service delivery which could be applied within ALSTOM by our providers
  • Demand Management

  • Accountable of Service Request catalogue management and improvement
  • Operational Service Description (OSD) : contribution and maintenance
  • Contribute to the OSD definition and updated.

  • In the context of the Cloud, manage the implementation of new services and contribute to the Business transformation by ensuring the communication with alstom IS&T and Business
  • Improve the quality of Compute and cloud Service catalogue
  • Educational Requirements

    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering supported by experience of computer systems or equivalent education and experience.


    Proven experience in the Data Centre service delivery and service management together with an understanding of the services being provided and their position within the company information system.

    Strong project management knowledge and experience
