About AXA Emerging Customers :
AXA Emerging Customer leads AXA’s inclusive insurance strategy, which aims at protecting low-to-middle income populations in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe to help them secure their socioeconomic trajectories.
As an illustration, we develop affordable (monthly premium of 1-5 euros or sometimes even less) life or health insurance products for farmers, small shopkeepers, migrant workers, etc.
This initiative is a defined business unit with commercial objectives as well as a social impact mission. As of end-2020, AXA protected over 22 million emerging customers in 12 countries.
More concretely, the Emerging Customers team helps local AXA entities design and roll out of their inclusive insurance programs through partnership building (with microfinance companies, mobile network operators, mobile wallets ), customer research, new product development, IT solutions design, operations optimization, impact assessment, etc.
Clients-centricity is not just a buzz word with regards to AXA Emerging Customers : we apply human-centered design methodologies on the ground to tailor new products and services to customer needs leveraging technology.
Primary mission :
The Emerging Customers team is looking for a profile with strong interest in the financial inclusion space willing to perform a 6 months internship or 12 months apprenticeship as an analyst.
The primary mission will be to support the team on projects and partnerships to deploy inclusive insurance programs, as well as contribute to positioning the team as a thought leader in the space.
Main activities :
Business development and project management in priority markets with a focus on France, Morocco and Francophone West Africa
Studies on rural models and partnerships to protect smallholder farmers
Partnerships and Stakeholder outreach :
and internal (e.g. team governance, newsletters, etc.)
Fluent in both English and French a must-have; Experience in / interest for international development and social issues.
Knowledge of financial inclusion is a strong plus; MS Office : Word and Power Point advanced level (mandatory).
Able to work in a team and also autonomously; Results focused; Sense of humor.
