Our Life Sciences Solutions group (LSG) is looking for its new Senior Technical Sales Specialist for France, Benelux, Italy and Spain M / F.

Ideally based in France, near an airport.

Your Key Responsibilities will be to :

  • Influence the use and evaluation of CaptureSelect and POROS Industrial chromatography resins in DSP development groups of Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies.
  • Maximize sale of Thermo Fisher resins within in the purification of clinical biopharmaceuticals.
  • Manage accounts with key influencers based in the region, some of which span to other global geographies, working closely with senior Thermo Fisher Core and Corporate Account managers.
  • Together with the Business Manager, build and execute a plan for market development in the region.
  • Compete for all existing and develop new sales opportunities within the territory to meet or exceed targets.
  • Maintain and grow business within existing key accounts.
  • Provide accurate forecast and lost order reporting as well as competitive information on a regular basis.
  • Ensure that all necessary resources needed are used efficiently and effectively in order to increase the business.
  • Co-ordinate all issues with key clients between sales, support, customer services, marketing and finance.
  • Our ideal profile :

  • B.Sc / Master or higher degree in Life Science or relevant science subject
  • 3-5 years sales experience
  • Deep knowledge in Pharma / BioPharma Downstream Process Development and Manufacturing
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to work in line with the goals of a commercial organisation, demonstrable track record of measuring performance towards these goals
  • Self-motivated and well organized individual with the ability to work autonomiously
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of using a CRM system such as Salesforce.com
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region (2 / 3 overnight / week)
  • Fluent level in French and English are mandatory.
